Why AAOI Was Created

It may seem like all lights, cameras, action, glamour and fun from the outside, but the Influencer Industry has evolved into what has now become one of the shadiest industries around.

The newfound Influencer Industry is an exceptionally difficult terrain to maneuver; particularly for the uninitiated and newcomers. Especially in this post-modern era where there exists so many possible pitfalls, dishonest promoters, sneaky managers, underhanded lawyers and deceitful brand executives willing to trick eager aspiring-influencers trying to churn a living through a career as an Influencer.

From missed payments for completed jobs and unjust demands, to perverse conmen luring influencers for false ‘paid’ photo shoots and unconsented sexual advances, the list of potential hazards in the Influencer Industry just gets longer by each passing day, especially with no associations or communities to protect the best interest of Influencers.

However, the problems all end here at AAOI (Asian Association of Influencers)– a first-ever purpose-built community where our modus operandi revolves entirely around safeguarding influencers, their endeavors, their best interests and fighting for their rights.

What We Do

We protect the best interests of Asian Influencers and promote their successes as well as open new doors of opportunity across borders, outside of Asia. From ensuring no dodgy backhanded dealings are made and verifying the legitimacy of a brand, down to ensuring the safety of influencers, making sure payments are made on time, and sparing Influencers from the lengthy and confusing process of receiving payments from international brands outside of Asia by stepping in and helping them every step of the way, we only have the best interests of all Asian Influencers at heart.
